Company History
It all started with Vince Marino Plumbing's founder, Baltimore's own Vincent S. Marino. Vince grew up working at his father’s produce stand at Hollins Market before enlisting in the US Navy in 1951 during the Korean War. While in the army Vince registered as a pipe fitter on the Samuel B. Roberts D.D. 823, a U.S. Navy destroyer. Vince continued to be one of the ship’s plumbers working on all the various pipe systems until his honorable discharge.
After coming home, with his new found plumbing experience, Vince decided to obtain a job with a Baltimore-area plumbing company where he worked for 15 years.
With all of that experience, Vince Marino started his own company in 1976. From this, Vince & Son Plumbing was born. The company was built on family and old-fashioned values. Perhaps one of the most important assets of the company was Vince's son, Vincent R. Marino, better known as Vinnie. Even at the age of thirteen, Vinnie started out helping his father in plumbing and continued following in his footsteps once the business was founded.
The father and son team continued to work together with multiple employees up until 1990 when Vince handed the company over to Vinnie.
Vince Marino Plumbing & Heating, Inc., is still family owned and operated to this day but now has 10 service trucks to fit all of your plumbing, heating, cooling and water treatment needs!
