Located in Silver Spring's Warren Street Industrial Park, Master Plumbing & Mechanical, Inc is a smaller, fully-equipped, and community-conscious business that depends on and supports other local businesses.

After 24 years, Master Plumbing & Mechanical knows it's a delicate balance between personal, neighborly service and maintaining an adequate workforce to be able to tackle some of the most demanding projects of the trade. But founders, owners, and operators Joe Maier and Billy Silk wouldn't have it any other way.

Both Joe and Billy grew up in the area, and have spent the past few decades building close working relationships with a loyal, growing client base, from hundreds of private home and business owners to diplomatic institutions and commercial builders -- who in turn have rewarded MPM with many referred customers.

Few small businesses pack as much punch in trade knowledge as Master Plumbing & Mechanical.

Both armed with Master Plumber and Gas Fitter licenses and more than 30 years of specialized experience, Joe and Billy are active participants in the industry's development. Joe is a current member of the board of directors of the Washington Suburban Master Plumbers Association (WSMPA), of which Billy is a former president. Billy is also currently on the Metro-area board of directors at the Radiant Panel Association.

Joe and Billy insist upon the most stringent practical application of all updated plumbing codes and standards, regardless of the size, scope, or location of a job.
